On Wednesday the 26th of March, we will organise a lunch lecture hosted by Covra.
In the Netherlands, we produce about a thousand cubic metres of radioactive waste per year. Radioactive waste is produced by nuclear power plants, hospitals, research institutes and industry. Covra is the sole company in the Netherlands responsible for collecting, processing and storing radioactive waste. They have different processing techniques depending on the type of radioactive waste and have multiple storage buildings on site.
The lunch lecture is from 12:45 - 13:45 in Korvezee Hall and if you sign up, you will also receive a free sandwich from Broodje Delft!
If you do not show up , you will receive a no-show fee of €4.15.
