Shell Moerdijk makes chemicals based on petroleum. It is one of the largest chemical complexes in the Netherlands and Europe, where about 1300 people work. The heart of Moerdijk are some naphtha crackers that make raw material for many other factories in Moerdijk and Shell Pernis, and a number of products that are delivered directly to external customers.
